Being a Texas Ranger does not imply that you get to give being a family man worthy of having a wife and children.
Kurt is a Texas Ranger and excellent shot and has made a living for himself in Arizona. He is on a mission trying to work a character with his best friend and the Sheriff in Leland Valley and will stop at nothing to clear it. He is a typical cowboy that believes his son is law and that it should be followed but when he encounters Cassie things change. He believes that he can tell Cassie what to do and that she will listen but he has another thing coming. No matter how drawn he is to Cassie he needs to save his head cleared for the eccentric but one night in a cave totally unravels him and he cannot hold his men off of Cassie. It was merely a thing of time before his feelings for her would fall out and his eye would be conquered.
Cassie is a strong determined young lady that will do anything in rank to sustain her father safe even if she needs to be the one to get out who is responsible for the offence that was committed. I admired her purpose in her wanting to serve and making plans where she uses herself to gain information. Cassie`s first meeting with Kurt she had that instant connection with him but no matter what she fought for what she believed. She required to make sure she could believe him because of their first encounter. After she found out what his life story was she feels compassion for him and knows she can desire him. Cassie was set to love her time with Kurt for as farsighted as she could because she realised that he was probably going to depart as shortly as he finished solving his case.
The storyline of this record was gratifying and held drama when needed. The love between Cassie and Kurt was so remarkable they were burning up for each other but no matter what they stood their distance. It was only a subject of time before they would make into temptation especially after an intense kiss. Try reading this book, you will wish it.
