(June 23, 2011;Columbia Records; New York, NY) - British artistAdele is set to take to North America toresume touring in backup of her breakthrough sophomore album 21.
The23 year old singer was constrained to scratch her go in early June due tolaryngitis. The rescheduled dates will have place during the months ofAugust and October. The new tour will include stops in 6 additional citiesincluding Las Vegas, NV, Atlantic City,NJ, Durham,NC, Orlando,FL, Miami, FL andSpring, TX. The 1st cycle of rescheduled dates kicks off on August 9 inVancouver, BCand runs through August 24 in SaintPaul, MN. Thesecond round of dates kicks off on October 7 in AtlanticCity, NJ and runs through October 21in Grand Prairie, TX (see below for full itinerary and ticketinformation).
Adeles sophomore album 21 has held the #1 position onU.S. album charts for 10 weeks andhas been certified double platinum. Rolling In The Deep, the firstsingle from 21, has alsobeen certified double platinum and has held the #1 single slot in the U.S.for 7 weeks straight.
