If there is such matter as "It" skincare, that honour would probably go to Tata Harper right now. These days, it seems every cool girl ever is mentioning Harper's line as a medicine cabinet staple. It makes sense, though: The products - which are made by hand on her Vermont farm, with many of the organic ingredients sourced from the property - are incredibly softening and glow-inducing.

Harper's products defy the norms most have do to ask from all-natural products (i.e. no crunchy, earthy smell). In fact, one of the most awful things around the origin is they way it smells. With ingredients like orange blossom, lavender, carrot oil, pomegranate enzymes and apricot seed, there's this added luxe feel, on top of being really nourishing for your skin.

We caught up with Harper - who also has an apartment in New York - to discuss everything from summer makeup to Colombian salsa (she's from the same city as Shakira) to her secrets for radiant skin.

Hometown: Barranquilla, Colombia

Where do you live?: My house is on my farm in Vermont, however, I divide my time between the produce and New York City.

Astrological sign: LEO

Summer skincare regimen: During the summertime I exfoliate my struggle with the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser and my Clarisonic brush once a week. This helps to rid the struggle of any congestion and gives it a deep cleanse. I use it from my breast to my forehead. After cleansing I use the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask for weekly maintenance, which helps to remove dead skin cells and bring new ones to the open for a beautiful healthy glow. This measure is particularly important throughout the summer months when you are out in the sun more often. Then I spritz my nerve with our Hydrating Floral Essence and give the Rejuvenating Serum and Reparative Moisturizer and Restorative Eye Cream. The lowest measure is my favorite. I use the Replenishing Nutrient Complex as it provides a final layer of security for my skin. I take it round in my bag and use it many times during the day for a rise of nutrients. It's like your skin taking a vitamin pill.I enjoy it!

Favorite artist: Jim Hodges

Last trip you went on: Palm Beach

Contents of your travel dop kit: When I go my skin gets very dehydrated due to the air recirculation. Before I get off I always spray my Hydrating Floral Essence and operate the moisture in with the Replenishing Nutrient Complex.

Person/place/thing that's consistently inspiring you: The Next is the most inspiring thing to me, the ambition of a domain where my children and grandchildren won't use or get near to the reach of industrial toxic chemicals.

Favorite flowers: I adore tulips.

Favorite jeans: I love Rag & Bone.

Summer makeup routine: In general I don't assume a lot of makeup, I feel very bad with it on, which defeats the full use of using it in the foremost place. When I'm going out to an event and want some added glamour I make a pot of RMS Solar Eye Shadows that adds only a concern of light and highlight. I know their Living Luminizer! It's capital for the cheekbones and below the eyes. A little goes a long way. It simply gives the slightest touch of glow without glitter or looking obvious. I like Kjaer Weiss lip gloss, it's silky (not sticky) and leaves your lips looking naturally gorgeous.

Favorite restaurant: AXE in Venice Beach and Sushi of Gari in NYC.

Perfume: My aromatic treatments are my selection of perfume lately. They are mood prescriptions and were not alleged to be perfumes but they smell sooo good and are so easily to expect that I end up using them throughout the day. I love products with multiple purposes.

Music you're loving right now: I don't get to one genre of music. Right now I like listening to Adele and Joe Arroyo (Colombian Salsa).

Favorite thing about summer: The long days, so often to do.
